Climate class

The function and tightness of doors are affected by different room temperatures and humidity levels, as is the case with bathrooms, basement entrances, unheated rooms (bedrooms in winter) and flat entrance doors, for example.

Values according to DIN 1121 EN
Stabilisers: für erhöhte Klimastabilität (z.B. Bäder)
Climate class 2: (untested) Differential temperature 10°/ differential humidity 35%
Climate class 3: differential temperature 20°/ differential humidity 55°
Climate class 4: e.g. for the transition to garages (indoors)

Sound insulation

Doors with sound insulation shield against noise, reduce it and thus protect privacy.

Sound insulation values in Rw,P according to DIN 4109
Sound insulation class 2: Rw,P 38dB rebated / Rw,P 36 dB flush
Sound insulation class 3: Rw,P 42 dB

Burglary protection

These elements protect you against unpleasant burglary situations and unauthorised entry into enclosed spaces.

Classification DIN EN 1627
RC 2: Resistance time 3 minutes
Features: 3-fold locking, hinge side security, rebate air limiter
RC 3: Resistance time 5 min
Equipment: 5-fold locking, hinge side security, rebate air limiter, 4 hinges
Possible additional equipment: Overhead door closer (ITS), peephole, electric strike, magnetic contact, bolt contact, locking element, multi-point locking with electromechanical drive*

Smoke protection

These elements prevent the spread of smoke.

In accordance with DIN 18095, elements with general building authority test certificate (abP)
Equipment: with internal overhead door closer
Possible additional equipment: electromagnetic hold-open device, free swing closer

Fire and smoke protection

These elements prevent the spread of fire and smoke.

In accordance with DIN 4102 and DIN EN 1634, elements with general building authority approval
T30/RS: fire-retardant, smoke protection, fire resistance 30 min
Possible additional equipment: peephole, electric strike, magnetic and bolt contacts, electromagnetic hold-open device, free swing closer, locking element, multi-point locking with electromechanical drive*
